Our facility houses a suite of mass spectrometers and chromatography systems designed to support a wide range of proteomics and biomolecular analyses. Together, these instruments enable high‑sensitivity identification, deep quantitative coverage, advanced ion mobility separations, and specialized intact mass and MALDI‑based measurements.

 

Bruker timsTOF HT + Evosep Eno

The Bruker timsTOF HT is a high‑speed, high‑sensitivity mass spectrometer that integrates trapped ion mobility spectrometry (TIMS) and parallel accumulation–serial fragmentation (PASEF) technology. This system delivers exceptional sequencing speed, deep proteome coverage, and reproducible quantitation, making it ideal for large‑scale discovery workflows and clinical‑style sample series.

Paired with the Evosep Eno HPLC platform, the system supports robust, high‑throughput nanoLC separations with standardized gradient methods optimized for long sample series and reduced instrument downtime. Together, the timsTOF HT and Evosep Eno provide:

  • Ultra‑fast LC-MS/MS acquisition with high spectral quality
  • Ion mobility separation for improved peptide identification
  • High‑throughput workflow options (30–300 samples/day)

Thermo Scientific Orbitrap Fusion Lumos + EASY‑nLC

The Orbitrap Fusion Lumos is Thermo’s flagship tribrid mass spectrometer, combining an Orbitrap, quadrupole, and linear ion trap in a single system. This configuration offers outstanding mass accuracy and flexibility across acquisition strategies.

Coupled with the EASY‑nLC nano‑flow liquid chromatography system, this platform excels in PTM‑focused workflows, targeted proteomics, and complex quantitative experiments.

The MALDI UltrafleXtreme is a high‑performance time‑of‑flight/TOF mass spectrometer optimized for rapid analysis of intact biomolecules, peptides, synthetic polymers, and other analytes compatible with matrix‑assisted laser desorption/ionization.

This instrument is well‑suited for applications requiring speed and robustness, including:

  • Intact protein mass measurements
  • Bacterial Biotyping
  • Polymer characterization and specialized biomolecule analysis
